Quaker Notes Fall 2020 *Virtual* Auditions!
Quaker Notes will be holding auditions this year virtually! We welcome all to audition - no a cappella or theory experience required.

INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
WHEN: Open call auditions will take place through video submission, and the window for submission will be from Monday, September 7th @ 8:00 AM EST until Thursday, September 10th @ 4:00 PM EST!
HOW: Video Submission: For your video submission, you will need to include the following two elements: 1. A verse + chorus of a pre-rehearsed solo of your choosing. This can truly be any song that you feel showcases your vocal ability and that you feel confident performing! 2. Ascending/Descending scales You can find the download link to the audio for these scales HERE:
HIGHER VOICES (Alto, Mezzo, Soprano): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Yabn5RMOIRHTh9axw7wYh6g6Ku7pdhDK?usp=sharing These scales should be sung along to the audio, and can be performed on any vowel!

When you upload these videos, please use the following title: FIRST NAME LAST NAME GROUP NAME AUDITION (Ex: "Henry Platt Disney Audition") When submitting these videos on the google forms, PLEASE UPLOAD AS EITHER A PRIVATE YOUTUBE LINK OR A GOOGLE DRIVE LINK Rather than upload a large video file, this method will prevent issues with storage on google forms. Please ensure that the sharing settings are such that each group will have access to the video!

The Quaker Notes are the University of Pennsylvania's premiere, nationally acclaimed all-female a cappella group. The Quaker Notes sing music of all types of genres, including pop, rock, r&b, and alternative, and all of our songs are elected and arranged by our members.
