Founded in 1979, the Quaker Notes was the first a cappella group to be established on Penn's campus. For over 40 years, the all-female identifying Qnotes members have brought contemporary music to Penn and beyond.
Throughout the year we have a Fall and Spring show while also performing at gigs. Our performances range from charity fundraisers and private parties to university events. We also have had the amazing opportunity to open for Pentatonix in 2018 and 2019. This year, we will be returning to NYC to open for the Radio City Rockettes at their Christmas Spectacular as well as sing at Penn's Carnegie Hall event.
Our style consists of contemporary music from all genres. We compose and perform all of our own arrangements, continuously pushing the limits of our creativity.
But if you ask anyone in the group, they would tell you that Quaker Notes is so much more than just the music. It's an amazing group of women creating friendships and memories to last a lifetime.
